Launched in February 2005, Medical Biotechnology Research publishes the highest-quality research at the interface of biotechnology and medicine. The past decade, in particular, has witnessed advances in biotechnological techniques that have enabled scientists to manipulate biological systems at the molecular level with increasing precision. With the rapid growth of this field in Iran, a new forum for publication of high-impact research in medical biotechnology has become essential. We intend to make Medical Biotechnology Research stimulating and well-balanced for a diverse readership, to build a community of medical biotechnologists, and to foster the exchange of ideas across modern and traditional disciplines.
